Alexandra Gunn is a Brisbane singer-songwriter who has previously released music in a different style under her first name alone. She’s now moved into country music and the result is the immediately appealing ‘Follow Through’, a country rock/pop song that announces that Gunn is a performer with energy and a little bit of cheek too. It’s a love song that’s not really about love so much as the end of the line: someone needs to get it together … or get out.
Gunn’s life in music started early: her father has been playing in bands for years (and he appears in the clip for the single, on guitar). And although Gunn has only just arrived in country music, she seems to have embraced it wholeheartedly.
