unnamed (20).jpgQueensland country-folk duo AlfanAnt have released a new single, ‘Head in the Clouds’, from their forthcoming album Aurora Australis, due for release in June. The song is instrumentally upbeat and lyrically introspective and reflective; the pair say that it’s ‘about the way that men (and by saying that we mean ourselves) blame everyone else for their problems – we expect everyone else to change, keep heading in the same direction and doing the same old sh*t day after day and expecting a different result.’

AlfanAnt’s previously released EP, Lucky, yielded the song ‘Comes A Time’, which was a finalist for the Blues & Roots Song of the Year category in the 2018 Queensland Music Awards. The EP also spent over 2 months in the triple j Unearthed charts.
