Queensland singer-songwriter Camille Trail has released her third single – and her third great single. ‘Little History’ follows ‘Humming Chain’and ‘Devil’s Drink’ and confirms Trail as an exciting, diverse new country music talent. The song was produced by Shane Nicholson and the video was made by Duncan Toombs at The Filmery. Queensland fans can see Trail at the VDM Festival in Biloela on 4 October.
The always-impressive Hayley Jensen debuted at #6 on the iTunes overall chart and #1 on the country chart with her dynamic new single, ‘Breakin’ Hearts’. It’s the first single from her next album, which will be released next year, and was composed and produced by Canadian Indigenous songwriter, artist and producer Troy Kokol, with the lyrics co-written by Jensen with Kokol and Canadian songwriter Chris O’Neil.
Nashville-resident Australian duo Leaving Lennox have released the poignant new single ‘Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)’, a song about the push and pull of a relationship. Band members Mick Hambly and Lauren Val are both wonderful singers but have a special power performing as a duo. This year they signed a booking and management deal with Periscope Music Group, were awarded an artist grant under the Australia Council for the Arts 2020 Resilience fund and have been nominated for two JMA (Jose Music Awards).
