A while ago – because this website has been going for over a decade – I started declaring each time I wrote about The McClymonts that this is a pro-McClymonts space and that disclaimer was attached to each review of each album they released. That disclaimer still applies because there has never been a reason to remove it. The McClymonts bring joy to Australian audiences, and they are consistent about it. In 2018 their lead singer, Brooke McClymont, released a wonderful album, Adam & Brooke, with her husband, Adam Eckersley, who has his own band. Earlier this year Brooke was introduced to new audiences in the TV show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! in which she was the runner-up in ‘the jungle’. She and Adam also released two singles, ‘Star of the Show’ and ‘Roll On Baby’, and they are heading out on tour (dates below and at brookeandadam.com). Interviewing Brooke is always a pleasure and this time was no exception.
