What Now? is the third album from Corey Legge, an artist originally from the Bega area of New South Wales whose community was directly and drastically affected by the bushfires of summer 2019/2020. The album depicts that time, as well as what happened not long after that, with the pandemic. Legge’s first two albums, Driving Out of Eden, and Some Days, were impressive and What Now? shows the progression in Legge’s craft as a songwriter and singer, alert to his role as a storyteller albeit one working within constraints to document those stories, as he talked about in our recent interview.
