Queensland artist Laura Frank has released four memorable, intriguing singles over the past few years, starting with ‘Things I’d Rather Do’ in 2019, followed by ‘Leave it All Behind’ in 2020 and ‘Pretty’ in 2021. Her latest single is ‘Simple Girl’, which is a battle cry about being oneself and no one else. While the message of the song is direct, Frank herself has a far from simplified life because apart from creating music she also co-hosts a podcast, Franks for Listening, and co-creates her music videos.
