It would not be an overstatement to call Duncan Toombs a pillar of the Australian country music community – and industry. Toombs has played with so many great artists that it would probably be easier to list who he hasn’t played with. As a member of the Adam Eckersley Band he is the winner of two Golden Guitars; as a maker of music videos he has won seven. But it’s only now that Toombs is releasing his own music, and what music it is: his debut single, ‘Run’, is as good as you would expect for an artist of his experience, a consummate country track that will surely win him many fans who will look forward to his debut album.
