It’s been a few years since I last interviewed Queensland singer-songwriter Brittany Elise, and in that time she’s released new music and become a Toyota Star Maker grand finalist, performing at the final this year during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Brittany Elise has a well-developed sense of story and a way of finding different angles on writing lyrics that make her songs intriguing as well as being musically great.
