There are very few aspects of music in which Lindsay Waddington is not involved. He’s a producer, songwriter and artist, he owns a recording studio on the Gold Coast, he’s released several albums and been nominated for or won many awards. His latest single is ‘Kakadu’, which was inspired by his travels in the Top End and which invokes the feeling of being in that remarkable place. Waddington first visited that part of Australia as a teenager, when he was touring with Brian Young – at the start of what would turn out to be a long, rich and fascinating career. We talked about some of that career, although a much longer conversation would be needed to cover it properly, and about the new single. You can watch that chat on YouTube or listen in Soundcloud.
