Tony Kennelly is an artist from picturesque Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of NSW who has released two albums, Hittin’ the Wall and Battlegrounds. He has a new single, ‘Sunday in the Sun’, which is just right for helping us hold on to summer days even as we have passed the equinox.
Kennelly has been performing live for many years, including a busy stint in Sydney in his younger years when he was working by day and gigging by night. He has some great stories to tell, including the one about the origins of ‘Sunday in the Sun’, which involves a large group of friends and an even larger zest for life.
