One of the best elements of the Australian country music scene is its young artists. There are several talented performers, who also usually write songs, under the age of twenty who release songs that are relevant to and enjoyed by listeners of all ages. Last year Queensland artist Lily Grace released her debut single ‘Annie June’, written and performed with James Blundell, and she followed it with ‘Sixteen Wishes’. She’s now released the country-pop single ‘The Two of Us Meet’ (music video below) which, in a very exciting turn of events, has also had a US release. Recently I spoke to Lily and found out that she is a dynamic, highly creative artist whose passion for music is infectious. You can watch the interview on YouTube or listen to it on SoundCloud, below.
