Faith Julija is an Australian artist who fell in love with country music after a visit to the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2003. Thereafter she started writing her own songs, gaining recognition in various competitions, including being a finalist in the New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards, NSW Champion of Champions and Toyota Star Maker. Julija moved to Denmark in 2006 and is now relaunching her Australian musical presence from the northern hemisphere.
Julija recently released the catchy, earthy single ‘I Like Your Truck’ and is now helping us get in the Christmas mood with ‘It’s December’, which she wrote with her daughter Isabella. The song captures the joy of the season as well as the somewhat frenetic activity that goes along with it – just the right song to put on while you’re trying to navigate shops and crowds along with face masks and QR codes … sometimes we all need a pick-me-up to handle that particular combination!
