Tammy Moxon is an artist from Townsville in Queensland who released her debut album, Drive Me Sane, in 2019. She intended to go back to the studio in 2020 but, of course, all those sorts of plans were derailed, but it was worth waiting for her new single, ‘Fighting Chance’, with the promise of more songs to come.
During our recent interview I discovered all sorts of interesting things about Moxon, including how many hundreds of songs are in her repertoire for gigs, and some of the more interesting places she’s played. She is an artist for whom art has been a matter of life and death, literally, and she is courageous in talking about this. There is surely more to discover about Moxon, and as she releases more music over the coming months we will hopefully find that out.
